SMAS Worksafe is a recognised member of the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) framework, which promotes a consistent approach to health and safety assessment across the construction industry.

A key objective of SSIP is to reduce unnecessary duplication, administration and costs associated with health and safety pre-qualification. Through the SSIP mutual recognition process, businesses holding a valid SMAS Worksafe certificate can have their accreditation recognised by other participating SSIP member schemes, helping to streamline procurement and tendering requirements.
